In Luke chapter nine and ten, Jesus sent out his disciples in teams to the towns and villages He was about to visit. These short-term missions paved the way for Jesus to come into that town or village. They opened up the door for people to see Jesus, to be healed by his touch, and for things to be made right in their lives. They were also a method Jesus used to train His disciples in the ways of the Kingdom. Following Jesus’ example, we too participate in short-term missions primarily serving our long-term church planting teams scattered around the world.
Each year, we send multiple short-term mission trips to various locations both here in the United States, as well as, to international locations. We aim to provide opportunities for adults, families, college students, young adults, and children to engage in short-term missions. If you want to explore more about how you can make a difference in the nations, short-term mission trips are a great early step.
Engage the Nations – Summer Intern Experience
Looking for an adventure this summer? Join us, May 15 - August 7, for the Intern Experience, a summer internship program geared toward college students and young adults looking to step onto the front lines and participate in what God is doing in the earth. Communities of interns will have the opportunity to engage God’s mission through church planting initiatives and potential humanitarian outreach efforts. Antioch has identified fourteen different locations abroad to facilitate teams of pioneering interns to live on the adventure, in the community and minister in difficult places! Whether you have traveled overseas before or have dreamed of living abroad for years, consider spending your summer with us as we contend for a move of God among the nations of the earth.
Application Deadline: MARCH 20, 2017 - Visit worldmandate.com/go for a list of locations and to apply online.
