1 Corinthians 12:12-27 describes God's church as a body, made up of many parts or members. Membership at Christ Fellowship involves a commitment to worship corporately, edify others through interactive service, give generously, and pray corporately for Christ's kingdom to reign on the earth.
Unlike a gym membership where you can come and go with no one noticing, membership in the church allows us to keep each other accountable and lets the church work together to thrive and reach out to the world.
What Defines A Member?
A Christ Fellowship member is someone who has been baptized into life and relationship with Jesus Christ and now seeks to grow to maturity in the power of the Holy Spirit by: following Jesus in all things, sharing Jesus with others, actively participate in discipleship and reproducing church life, and working for the creative good of our city, the nation, and the nations of the earth.
A member is committed to:
- Participation in a LifeGroup
- Attendance at Sunday service regularly
- Serving the church in some capacity
- Tithing and giving generously
- Praying for Christ Fellowship
- Honor church leadership
Welcome To The Family
Welcome To The Family is an interactive three-part class where you will discover our story, experience how we do life together and learn about ways to join the mission. After the third session, you will have the opportunity to place membership and get to know our Senior Pastor at our Welcome To The Family lunch. There is a place for you here at Christ Fellowship and a part for you to play as together, we share and multiply the life of Christ in the church through new disciples, new LifeGroups, new congregations, and new movements to the glory of God and the joy of all people.
Our next series of classes are on December 3, 10, & 17 during the second service in the Prayer and Equipping Room.
